This blog is about 2 weeks behind, and we're about to head to the airport now.  I'll update the rest of Italy, Greece, and Spain over the next 10 days.  There's great stuff ahead...illness, riots, tapas, and more! :)  So, please check back.  And maybe even give us a call soon.

katie..what an adventure! Aren't you glad you both decided to do this amazing trip. Sorry yuou didn't like Vennice that much. I wish I had thought to give you a few suggestions of things we enjoyed, like free boat ride to Murano , the island that makes glass ( watch fantasic glass being blown, grap a bite along any of a number of canel side cafes' and go back to venice by boat. Also free boat rides that take you from St. Marc Sq to the gorgeous hotel Cipriani ( noted as one of the most beautiful hotels of the world ,fun to just stroll around), have a meal or just a cold drink along their spectacular canel side resturant and watch the boats, water and look back at Venice. Also, famous Harry's Bar,( a short stroll from St. Marc Sq.) know world wide for their white peach bellinis. Delicous. We had the best spagetti bolanese of the trip at Harry's Bar too.

Your trip sounds amazing and I am so thrilled for you both to have made this happen. Each experiance both good and sometimes bad, is still part of this wonderful experiance. I know you will never forget this trip and I'm sure it will help shape your life in ways you can't even imagine yet. Fabulous!
